Tracy Painting & Decorating Inc. incorporated in 1998, and we are now celebrating our tenth year in the commercial and industrial painting business. Starting out as a small shop with four employees, we have grown in reputation as a quality orientated shop. We deliver more than what the specifications require. We treat each project as if it were our own property. We constantly strive for perfection in each and every project, no matter how large or small. We have to do a great job every time, because our name goes on every project that we do. We paint everything from a single office space to a million square foot warehouse.

Tracy Painting & Decorating, Inc. has reached a point to where most of our projects are by referrals from other contractors or owners. Our versatility is one of our many assets, from commercial and industrial painting, to sandblasting and power washing. Our highly skilled journeymen painters will always deliver a quality project within the required time frame for that project.

We take pride, not only in our work, but of the many accomplishments that we have achieved since our incorporation. This year, Tracy Painting & Decorating, Inc., has expanded from the Chicago metropolitan area, to regional, and nationwide work. Our projects will be taking us to places like Minneapolis, MN, Sheboygan, WI. Peoria IL., and this year, to Montreal, Canada.

Our safety program is second to none. We have no lost time accidents in ten years of business, over 100,000 man hours. Safety is our number one goal on every project. Every precaution is taken to ensure that every employee returns home safely, every day.

This year, Tracy Painting & Decorating, Inc. sponsored a charity painting project for United Cerebral Palsy in Joliet, Illinois. Six months in the making, we solicited paints, protection, scaffold and equipment to complete a gymnasium, stage area, hallways, stairwells, doors and frames, in three days time, at no cost to UCP. Our company made the front page of the Labor Record, a Will/Grundy County union publication, with pictures of the project located inside. On June 23, 2007, Robert Tracy accepted the Heroes and Legends Man of the Year Award on behalf of all involved in this worthy cause.

Owner, Robert Tracy, is a former Board of Directors member for the Painting & Decorating Contractors of America, (PDCA) and the Finishing Contractors Association of Chicago. (FCAC.) We are a Union shop, District Council 14, Chicago, and District Council 30 in Aurora, Illinois. Our company remains proactive in the painting industry, and continues to strive for the betterment of our trade.
